Good to see, but from my own POV, I already have Generations 1 and 2 in trades. I was hoping this was collecting Generations 3 too...
Ah well...
Still waiting for a JB Superman Omnibus too!

DC really don't seem to be grabbing the collected edition market like Marvel are. I already have Generations 1 and 2 in trades. Put all three in a hardback omnibus = instant purchase.

Maybe they're planning G3 for a "volume two".

Love seeing this but, like Leigh, I wish it were an oversize hardcover with all three series in it. I wonder what the reasoning was not to include G3 in this?

DC Has been putting together several collections around the Elseworlds banner. The first Batman and Justice League collections are out. The first Superman volume is due this fall. And there are two more Batman volumes in the works. Amazon is also listing a Super Sons collection for February. If they are making such an effort for imaginary stories, I'm crossing fingers we may get a collection for Generations 3.

April 2017? I hate that they announce these things so early.

In fairness, DC didn't announce anything. Amazon just posted their pre-order link.

JB, is there anyone at DC to whom you could request that these be sorted chronologically? And throw in that Gotham Knights story, too?

JB, is there anyone at DC to whom you could request that these be sorted chronologically? And throw in that Gotham Knights story, too?•• No -- and I doubt they'd be willing to do it, anyway. This volume looks to me to be like one of those SPECIAL DVD collections that's really just the previous collection with a new box. This is GI and G2, previously collected in trades, and this will be those exact editions, I'm sure.
