The Jack of Hearts... I'm not familiar enough with the character, but lord almighty, WHO THOUGHT THAT COSTUME WAS A GOOD IDEA? Joel Biske, that is no comment on your choice - that's a nice cover - but what kind of masochist would want to draw a full issue of that character every month? The Silver Surfer, sure. The Jack of Hearts - what the actual hell?

I'm surprised Marvel hasn't turned him into a movie. I don't have any real preference for the character, more that Golden took a really lame ass character and kinda made him look cool.

Trevor Smith - yes, I knew that cover showed Rom. I wasn't comparing those two; I was comparing Jack of Heart's appearance to the Silver Surfer's appearance. One is a little more complex than another... :D :D :D

Geez, this is hard to answer properly. I'm discarding the sad, cynical answer of the one with the highest re-sale value, as it's not in the spirit of what's being asked.

I think to narrow it down, I'm going to go with work that is driven by nostalgic value and therefore from the period when I loved comics the most, which was when I was 10 to 15 years old.

And I'll pick this:
