Over the summer my Dad gave me some comics from the house I grew up in. It was mostly 1970’s Charlton stuff. As I was admiring my childhood treasures, I noticed a copy of Batman/Captain America filed with Space:1999.
As I looked at the cover dates of two of these comics, it occurred to me 20 years have already passed since the 1996 JB written/drawn/lettered DC/Marvel was published!! The same span between the 1976 JB written/drawn/lettered Charlton comic.
Having a 20+ year career creating story & art for comics was already impressive in 1996. How can another 20 years have slipped through our fingers?! I was only 8 years old when I held that Space:1999 comic!
I’ll be 68 when this chunk of time passes again, and JB will have 60+ years under his belt! Time flies.

Fantastic. And what a great pic. I'm going to re-read BATMAN & CAPTAIN AMERICA very shortly.
