I stuck with 18 songs which is what he's doing at his concerts these days. My problem with a Gene set is the songs he's known for I tend to not like (Cold Gin, Dr. Love, etc ...) so a lot of the classics aren't on my dream list.

1. Radioactive
2. Killer
3. All the Way
4. The Street Giveth and the Street Taketh Away
5. X-Ray Eyes
6. Ladies In Waiting
7. Domino
8. Rock And Roll Hell
9. Almost Human
10. Thief in the Night
11. Naked City
12. Thou Shalt Not
13. She
14. Watchin' You
15. Deuce

16. Unholy
17. Charisma
18. Rock and Roll All Nite

I'm not a huge KISS fan, but my list:

1. Domino
2. Unholy
3. I Love It Loud
4. God of Thunder
5.War Machine
6. Dr. Love
7. World Without Heroes
8. Deuce

That's a short set! Is he opening for Paul?

And I love GoT, but at this point, it's been done to death.

I'll make my own list in a bit, but I'm surprised no one's listed "Journey of 1,000 Years" yet, off PSYCHO CIRCUS... for me, it's one of the few Gene songs that gives me goosebumps--I think it's one of his greatest songs ever (off a relatively uninspired album).

Damn, "Journey of 1000 Years" IS a great song. Just lost track of it because I tend to skip over that album.

I took a shot at a Paul Stanley setlist.  Again, used Gene's 18 song list.  Not to be too catty, but we'll assume this dream set is played in a dreamworld where Paul can still sing!

And I deeply and passionately despise "Lick It Up" and "Heaven's On Fire," even though, in general, I like Paul's 80's output a lot (as you'll see below.)  The only song I never, EVER want to hear live again more than those two is "Firehouse."

1. King of the Mountain
2. Room Service
3. Say Yeah
4. Crazy, Crazy Nights
5. Magic Touch
6. Heart of Chrome
7. Danger
8. Who Wants To Be Lonely
9. Take Me Away (Together As One)
10. Sure Know Something
11. I'll Fight Hell To Hold You
12. Mr. Speed
13. Rock Bottom
14. I Want You
15. Love Gun

16. I Stole Your Love
17. Tonight You Belong To Me
18. Detroit Rock City

(I guess it's on to Ace after this.)

Have you not seen Paul singing Tracks Of My Tears with
Soul Station? He can still sing,i just think at his age
his voice isn`t up to touring Kiss songs.

Since he's the singer in Kiss that's kind of a problem :)

Gene Simmons is going to try and trademark the metal sign.

Gene Simmons is either going to get laughed at, or have his trademark (if he actually is granted one) thrown out when he gets sued over it.

But Gene is full of it, anyway, because:

1. Its actually been around a long time and has various meanings in other countries. Such as a sign to ward off the evil eye, which is what Ronnie James Dio got it from. Its also used in the Wicca religion.

2. It was used as far back as the late 60s by a band called Coven. Gene claims he started using it in 1974, but Ronnie James Dio was more known for using it than Gene, even though Gene most likely did use it first. (Love Gun cover - which was a painting - aside.)

(Gene is a perfect example of someone I think is a great entertainer, but a lousy human being.)

And Brian Miller? I said I'm not a huge KISS fan. All those songs I listed are my favorites with Gene on lead vocals. Though if solo stuff counts, add Asshole, Living In Sin and his cover of The Prodigy song Firestarter to the list. (I actually prefer his version of Firestarter to the original.)
