I ran across one of these cups recently and had an almost vertigo inducing flashback. I had probably ten or so of them back about 40 years ago but they completely left my consciousness . Not seeing hide nor hair of them since. Until....today.

Anybody remember theses from 7-11?
Or even better anybody still got one?

I remember these!  Definitely a time capsule of the 1970s.  BTW, if you have a few you really want, many can be had on eBay starting around $8 - 10 and going up from there.  Link

I have the entire collection in my garage. I'll see about getting a photo uploaded tomorrow.

At least I think I have the entire collection. I don't recall having one of The Watcher or Nick Fury. But IIRC there may have been two sets issued way back.

I think my set has more scenes and less poses.

Hmmmm... I don't remember those. They are
really cool though! Similarly, I just dug
up my Looney Tunes glasses, circa 1973/74,
at my parents a few weeks ago.

I lived for those things back in the day. Of course, if you washed them, the picture soon came off, so they really were just for show. Also, if the lip of the cup cracked, as it easily could, the plastic being quite fragile, it would pinch your lip and sometimes leave a wicked cut... Nonetheless, I loved them an awful lot.

Yeah, my last faint memories of my cups was that they were pretty faded, as I liked to drink out of them. They were probably purged them from the cupboard at one point.

I always had the worst luck with those things. I'd trot into my local 7-11, eyes glimmering with naive anticipation, and I'd inevitably leave with a Jimmy Olsen cup.

Such great art, poses and logos!

If they ever re-issued these with the same artwork, whether in plastic or glass form, I'd snatch-up every single one in a heartbeat.

Before I discovered comic book shops, 7-11 was synonymous to me with comic books. Never got one of those cups because I didn't like Slurpees. Though I might snag a Red Sonja on eBay, 'cause I'm a grown up (?) guy now.

Such a great part of my childhood! I loved going to 7-
11 and getting a Slurpee in one of these cups and buying
a comic book. I had so many of these, but I too have no
idea whatever happened to them.

This was also my introduction to the Watcher. I
remember finding the cup and being like wow! Who or
what is this?

I remember them well.  My Black Bolt cup was my favorite.
