"You never hear of voter suppression, carpetbagging, losing of ballots or closed polls in Canada."

...

Wasn't there some kind of "robo call" scandal during an a election a few years back?

Oh sure, a few idiots try here and there but it never seems to work and they are usually charged with breaking the elections act. I am talking about actual government interference in elections. How the ruling State party gets to draw the boundary lines, for example, or political appointees to election boards.

Yeah, gerrymandering is ridiculously obvious in some cases.
My state to a step in correcting this by passing a redistricting commission of 13 citizens from around the state (5 Dems, 5 Rep, 3 Ind).

Deleted the post because I couldn't get it to format the way I wanted, which was kind of intrinsic to what I was trying to post.

During Obama's tenure the Republicans stirred up tribal anger and effectively crippled his efforts for change. But when Trump came around, the living embodiment of ugly tribalism, Republicans had no defense. He took their voters and took their party.

This time around the Democrats have made the same mistake. Identity politics energized the minority groups of our country. The unintended consequence is that BLM and Antifa have taken over. Just look at the Democrat run cities, where they protest and whip up chaos while local politicians heap reverence and praise.

"Democrat run cities," Joe?

You've even bought into the Republican verbal propaganda of refusing to use the more grammatically correct Democratic or Democratically run cities??

That's why you employ a lower case "d" or upper case "D".

Because Texas is not a Republicanian state.

******************

Texas is one of the most Republican states in the US.  Though, this year, it's getting dangerously close to flipping blue.  Closer that it's been in decades.
