11x17 Thought I'd make it another "on the board" shot, this one before the pencils are erased.

No one will ever get bored at looking at those two going at it.

Unbreakable bones or near-unbreakable?

Hulk is about to find out.

SNAP! Oh, near-unbreakable then :)

Excellent commission! They both look really fierce.

Ah, the Whim of Iron again. After several years of Wolverine's adamantium skeleton, Shooter suddenly decided that was "unrealistic" and our favorite Canadian found his bones "laced with adamantium". Not at all sure how that would make them indestructible.

(Pure coincidence that Shooter waited until I left the book to make this pronouncement. That I would have fought him tooth and claw had nothing to do with it. Nothing, I tell you!)

The problem with the whole 'laced with' idea is that shouldn't Wolverine's healing factor, especially as ridiculously amped up as its been shown to be, expel the foreign metal from his body and grow the rest of his bone back?

If his skeleton is completely replaced, his healing factor could compensate for the lack of bone marrow, but wouldn't force his skeleton out of his body, leaving him mush.

Wow!

The Hulk's legs…

The Hulk's head…

Wolverine's head…

Wolverine's left leg...

The Hulk's left hand…

Wolverine's right hand…

Wolverine's left arm and hand…
