Tonight I got to meet Martinho Correia! Martinho, AFAIK, is the only
artist in the JBF roster who could give our host a run for his money!
This academic art instructor who paints sacred images for the Vatican
is not your average international man of mystery! After a stint teaching
in Tasmania, he landed in Sydney and invited me for dinner at the
abode of the most charming hostess in Sydney. Roast lamb, fine
cheeses and wine were had by all and much merriment ensued. For my
part, I brought around my yet unframed BYRNE pieces for all to peruse.
In spirit, JB was here with us tonight, as we swapped stories and told
the befuddled (non-enlightened) guests of the respective influence his
work had on us, over the years. Many a glass was raised for JB and the
JBF!

Thanks to JB for my expanding friends list! Was a blast seeing Flavio's commissions in the flesh.

All 3 of those commission pieces look fantastic!  So what did Martinho Correia have to say about Byrne's artwork?  Tell Martinho that the JBF would like to see his interpretation of Galactus meeting God! ;)
