Use this thread to post samples of your coloring of the coloring book!

I didn't realise this thread had been created yet until Wallace mentioned it!

So here goes...

Intro page with PITT pens:

Pencils.... came out a bit too dark in places (and I also initially mistook the creatures as being grassy knolls. I'm stuck with them as green for the rest of the book! LOL).

Water colours (I think this works the best, but curls the page):

I jumped ahead because I couldn't resist this one. Mainly watercolours, with some help with pens to finish:

Thanks! Too gaudy by half I think. I'll try pastels at some later stage and see if I can tone the hues down a little!

Nice idea trying multiple types of media, Peter. Anyone have any Dr. Martin's Water Colors hanging around?

I'm going to withhold comment, as pages arrive. But I am looking forward to seeing the many different approaches to the same material.

I have the book. Just one copy. And I'm apprehensive about actually coloring it...for a few reasons:  It already looks great. I'm not sure I have time to sit down and color it like I'd want to. It's...daunting. And now, seeing what CAN be done with it....even moreso.

Awesome pages, Peter! Love the watercolors the most. You have
inspired me to color my own book.

Really lovely work, Peter! I find myself looking for each light source on the page to see how you used your colors around it and haven't been disappointed yet.  Looking forward to more.

Thanks for the compliments. Colouring the book has given me even more admiration for JB's ability to portray 3-D objects.... His mastery of perspective is apparent on every page.

LAUNCH is one of the pages that really jumped out at me
initially.
