LEGION is turning out to be an interesting, suspenseful show. Though I wonder if they still have a story to tell after this first season. It would be disappointing if a couple seasons later, David and his non-X-Men are still trying to find a way out of Benny's "astral realm".

Well that was a short season.  I'm still uncertain about how I feel about the show. I found myself caring about what happened to David. So I guess that's a good sign.

I thought the show hit all the right notes it needed.  The big bad was introduced in a way that will engage non-comic book fans coming to the material for the first time, but might be a little slow for those of us in the know.   The writing is dense and layered -- one episode of Legion packs more than three equivalent episodes of somehthing lighter, like The Flash.

The "Bolero" sequence in episode 7 was IMO one of the most captivating things I've seen on television in quite some time.   The blackboard exposition sequence in that same episode was a similar triumph.

I like that the Shadow King was the big bad. The character is incredibly powerful and in my opinion a major league bad guy. I'm surprised that it has taken so long for him to show on on screen. I'm pleased with where he ended up. I like the Lenny persona. The actress is doing a great job. I don't like the Monster and angry kid looks though.

Surprisingly, this has become my favorite comic-book related show. Way ahead of the stuff CW and Netflix do. It's got imagination and energy. Whereas the other shows sometimes just struggle to have a story to tell.

Liked it a lot. Now as to the post-credits scene... Forge?

Andrew, What about the scene made you think of Forge?
