Yes, this looks like fun. I'm in just to finally hear the Hulk speak more than five words in a movie.

I like the line, but cannot get Drax out of my head. Sounds a lot like how he talks

Interesting Easter Egg in the new trailer....

The faces of Man-Thing, Beta Ray Bill, Ares and Bi-Beast are part of The Grandmaster's tower seen in the trailer.

Speculation is that these are tributes to past champions of his arena!

Cool!

I honestly can't understand how the Marvel Cinematic folks have somehow made me MOST excited about a sequel to the dullest of all the Marvel sequels (Dark World) by adding in a character who was done poorly in both of HIS major movie outings (Hulk).

But I am SUPER SUPER EXCITED for this.

And yes, Hulk was fantastic in the Avengers, I know that.

There's been talk of how, because of legal issues, there's no way there's going to be a solo Hulk film in the foreseeable future. And, I'm thinking...maybe that's not a bad thing.

I love the Hulk. Favorite comic character going back 40+ years. Loved the TV show. Didn't so much care for Ang Lee's take, but I thought THE INCREDIBLE HULK was very good (even though the consensus seems to be that it's not really one of the jewels in the MCU crown).

But, he was a breakout character in THE AVENGERS. It was nice to see more of him in AGE OF ULTRON. And RAGNAROK looks to be another nice showcase for him.

Thor seems to suffer similarly. His first two solo movies don't get high marks compared to some of the other MCU efforts. But, he was also fun to watch in THE AVENGERS and AoU.

So, maybe these two shouldn't really have "solo" movies. Teaming them up in one is probably the way to go.

We've seemed to get to a point with the MCU where solo movies...really aren't, anyway. CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING, and now, THOR: RAGNAROK, while all focusing on their titular characters to some degree, can hardly be considered "solo" movies.

And INFINITY WAR, while prefaced with "AVENGERS", looks like it's going to have everybody in it.

And this bodes well for Hulk fans. As long as there's such crossover, we'll keep seeing him in movies.

If the right writer and director could be found I'd love a solo Hulk movie. Who should the villain be? Besides "Thunderbolt" Ross -- the Hulk's main enemy, if you think about it -- I don't know. The Leader, I suppose, but his defeat should have as much to do with Banner's brilliance as the Hulk's super-strength.

I totally agree with Brian's assessment. This "two-in-one" "Marvel Cinematic team-up" approach is just right for so many characters!

Wow...now I want to know who the other two faces are. Could the one in the lower left possibly be Attuma?

Fin Fang Foom is at the bottom.  It looks like Hulk's face is at the lower left.

I just want to say, the newest (third?) trailer has really done it for me!  I am getting very excited for this film.  I greatly enjoyed the first THOR movie.  And despite being in what I think is the minority, I rather enjoyed the second THOR film.

When I saw the first trailer for THOR: RAGNAROK, I was seriously underwhelmed.  However, each subsequent trailer has been better than the last, and this most recent one was a LOT of fun to watch!

I would like to take this opportunity to mention that I think HELA looked INCREDIBLE in the most recent trailer!  I think (and hope!) Cate Blanchett might have nailed it in her portrayal of our favorite Norse Goddess of Death!

Today I picked up the Marvel Legends: Thor Ragnarok: Hela figure and as I was staring at it, I couldn't help but think, Jack Kirby really did an "above and beyond the call of duty" job in designing Hela (don't worry, I was more than cognizant of the fact that the figure/movie Hela was only inspired by Kirby's design and not a literal representation of it).  That headdress?crown? was so beyond anything that a lesser mind could have envisioned as the head design for "this month's villain."  I mean what do you even call those "prongs/tentacles" that stick out on her crown?  I think Hela has always been one of my favorite villains, just based on how FABULOUS she looks!

Anyone else a fan of the comic book HELA?

Marc

"We're the same, you and I. A couple of hotheads."

"Yeah same. Hulk like fire, Thor like water."

Looks like fun.  Unfortunately it seems to kill off any chance of  a Planet Hulk Movie, which I would have liked to see.

Kate Blanchett has the perfect face for an actress. She can look like anything, good evil, pretty, plain, poor rich. Fascinating.

Man I hope this movie doesn't end up sucking because everything I've seen in all the trailers looks like an extremely fun "comic book movie" in the most literal sense of the word.

There is nothing about the character, from the trailers at least, that says Valkyrie to me. So why not simply create a new character?
