I was also thinking that art JB posted is the work of Victor Bridges. What elements to it that aren't JB-like are indicative of Bridges' style.

Ted, it's great that the comic book club had a booth at OC CON. Did the students sell any artwork or comics?

If the club sets up at another convention, it would be cool if the students created a comic book of their own, maybe an anthology, choosing some class artists, and some writers, with everyone pitching their ideas. You could have a limited run printed and sold at their booth. Just an idea that could educate them on both working on a comic and the publishing and retail end of things.

Some of you know (from facebook) that I ran into Renee &
Michael Golden at Epcot. I thought that was pretty
cool. They were down for the Star Wars Con.

And since this thread started with Frank Miller, I think
Paul Greer has a photo to share here too.

So, I'm headed to Wizard World in Philadelphia on June 2nd. Gene Simmons is going to be there.

Also, a couple of weeks later, I'll be attending Awesome Con in DC. Stan Lee is a scheduled guest.

I'm getting autographs from both. I was considering having both sign my copy of Marvel Super Special #1 featuring KISS.

I don't really have any original printings of the classic Marvel comics that Stan is credited writing. But he is featured in this one (in the article about KISS putting there blood in the red ink).

Good idea? Any other suggestions?
