Yes, another great one leaves us. This is our life now, to see all these giants going away.

A unique style, a wry sense of humor. One of the best.

I'm saddened to hear this. He was one of
the greats.

I managed to track down a reasonably priced copy of a
FRANKENSTEIN book with his illustrations several years
ago just in time to meet him at a con. Very glad I got
to have him sign it. A beautiful piece of work for
sure.

Wrightson's art was intriguing to me from early on in my
comic reading days. I remember pouring over the pages
of the HULK/THING graphic novel.

When you think of the all-time great comic book artists, he is definitely among the handful at the top. His passing is hard news to take, he will sorely be missed by all his many fans... Rest In Peace.

I met him in Kansas City, at Planet Comic Con, several years ago.  He visited with my, and I thanked him for his work.  R.I.P

An amazing artist. Absolutely stunning work, I'd say.

Awful news, a unique talent... I especially recall obsessing over his "Cycle of the Werewolf" images back in my teen years in the '80s.

RIP
