So, the new trailer is out:

Normally I would skip this, but my son turns 7 this year and has already talked about wanting to see this... I may have a hard time saying no, if early word is positive and if reviews state that it's more kid-friendly than the other DC films of late.

The trailer, admittedly, does look more fun than the dour BvS or trainwreck SUICIDE SQUAD trailers, but man, those character redesigns are butt-ugly.  I have no reason to believe that it won't be another thoroughly mediocre superhero-movie entry... or I may even end-up hating it.

Why does DC & Warners make it so hard to be a fan?

(Edit on 5/22:  No need for nasty Zack Snyder comments at this time.)

The most famous superhero of all isn't in the trailer,
despite being in the movie. Major fail.

I have zero desire to see this. The trailer didn't change my mind.

So, they're doubling down on the TV show's trend of turning Barry into Wally, personality-wise.  And rather than showing the world why Aquaman doesn't suck, they're making their 'Bad-Ass Aquadude' who will become dated that much faster.  As far as Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman so far, the one thing in their corner was good casting.  Throw that out the window now.

It has my favorite superhero in it (WONDER WOMAN) but other than that I am severely underwhelmed... sigh.

Someone posted a question following the debut of this advert.
Does the sun even exist in Zach Snyder's world?

I think it's a valid question based on his film output. He certainly seems to see the world in shades of brown

Easier (and cheaper) to hide bad special effects when it's dark and rainy.

If the solo Wonder Woman movie turns out to be no good, subsequent DC movies will be dead to me.  But even if WW turns out to be good, my interest in this JL movie is no more than morbid curiosity; Zack Synder is one of the worst directors currently working. Nothing in this trailer piques my interest.

This shows me everything I DIDN'T like with Man of Steel and Batman v Superman, and most of Suicide Squad, sure.

Wonder Woman shows promise, but it's not out yet. And it can't change the present.

Wonder Woman is going to be released.
Justice League is produced and will be released.

But if Justice League tanks, how much longer can DC afford to pour money down the Snyder-hole?

Or is it time for "Crisis on Cinematic Earths" and bite the bullet, and make a move with Superman, Supergirl, Green Arrow, Flash, the Atom, Firestorm, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, and introducing a new Batman? The TV Justice League. With a huge budget and two-plus hours, I think that Greg Berlanti might be in his glory. And could it be worse than this crap? I think not...

Too good to pass up posting here. Tweet from forum member Phil Obaza on Twitter and the full shot of the picture he references.

It's been gnawing at me for the last 18 hours, but I think what's bothering me about it the most is the seeming lack of any grandeur and scope.

None of this feels earned.

Marvel spent 5 years building to The Avengers. On the whole, they were damn good films that, while they maybe didn't always respect the source material as much as they should have, at least they didn't tear the characters down and seem embarrassed by them.

WB/DC is just like, here are your fave characters, will you give us money now please?

All I can think with the whole Warner's tripling down on Snyder after two underperforming films is that he's either got some real solid kompromat on Kevin Tsujihara, or he just knows where to score the best coke.

I don't plan on seeing the movie, so conjecture won't bother me. Based
on what I've seen, and the way DC seems to be copying Marvel, I have
an idea where things are going.

I absolutely love Jason Momoa's pitch perfect portrayal of Lobo.

Trailer looks fun. Fun character moments and really cool action. No idea if the final product will deliver. But that was a entertaining trailer.
