Sorry, Michael! I could picture that blurb on #330's cover with Talia so clearly, too... Rats. Once you pointed out the error, yes, I did think of Ivy and #181. Phooey...

James Best's is Marvel's Greatest Comics #36... Not that it provides much redemption...

Just for the record, here's the text off the cover of the earliest comic I can recall owning...

A Complete Novel
The Origin of Tarzan of the Apes
Gigantic Pin-Up of the Jungle Lord
How-To-Draw Tarzan
Special Fun & Game Pages
Behind the Scene with Joe Kubert
(Tarzan's Artist)
3D Diorama Cut-Out

"Starring the Legion of Super-Heroes"
"How Supergirl Joined the Legion"
"The Initiation of Ultra Boy"
"The Origin of the Legion of Super-Pets"
"Extra! The Adult Legion versus the Legion of Super-Villains"

That still may be my favorite comic ever, although there are one or two contenders...

Brian H. - Don't know the exact number, but I'd guess it's the first Limited Collectors Edition Tarzan issue that had the predominantly blue background. ( I have the later Tarzan LCE, and have only lusted after the eariler one via house ads)
