Michael Hogan - okay, that title just screams "John Byrne Fantastic Four Dr. Doom story." I know FF #259 and #279 had words on the covers, but blanking on what they were. Well, #259 had Tyros (a "plus one") so I'll go with that.

(It's #279, isn't it? :-) )

Robert Bradley - the Serpent Squad is from Captain America #163 (love me that Englehart Captain America...)

From "tinhead," I'm guessing the other one's Iron Man. Don't know the number offhand, but if you got it with the Captain America, it would've been around #60.

Dave Phelps, you got it! Firestorm #53. Though the earlier guess at a Flash issue was really smart, considering the double caption.
