So many to choose from...

my shortlist is:

Kitty Pryde/Sprite
Guardian
Sasquatch
Tony Murcheson
Jasmine (aka Jazz)

there would be a long list of runners up but I'm trying to obey the rules. :)

I'm going to regret this, I'm sure, but I decided to play this game myself. Keep in mind, the characters I list are in the form in which I created them, divorced from anything that was done with/to them after I relinquished control (if I did).

More or less in chronological order:

Heather Hudson

Puck

Jasmine/Jazz

Tony Murcheson

Nudge & Grunt (counting as one)

–––––Now, PLEASE, let's skip the customary rush by some folk to assume I DON'T like any of the characters NOT listed!!

Sometimes I wonder if I should really take any credit for Golgotha. He is, as I have often said, one part Red Skull, one part Doctor Doom, with just a soupçon of the Humongous from THE ROAD WARRIOR.

(In addition to providing some influence on the visuals, that latter is probably also what he sounds like!)

But you were the one to put those great parts together!

If Rob Liefeld can take credit for Deadpool (one part Spider-man, one-part Deathstroke) and Todd McFarlane can take credit for Spawn (one-part Batman, one part Ghost Rider, one-part Spider-man, with some Faustian legend stirred in and mixed with Deathlok's origins), then I'd say you deserve credit for Golgotha, JB.

Heck, Ka-Zar is basically a blond Tarzan.

You "didn't want" us to like Bruce Wayne Jr.? I didn't get that feeling at
all. I think I liked him for the most part.

Nudge & Grunt (counting as one)

I reeeeeealy wish DC would give you Nudge and Grunt. I can't properly put into
words just how much I like these two! (Can I change my response on the first
page?)

I'm fairly certain these are mine (it's so damned hard to limit my favorites to five).

Sasquatch
Puck
Sprite/Kitty Pryde
Nemesis
Golgotha

If DC ever loses rights to Nudge and Grunt, I'd love to see a new JB story featuring them!

JB: Sometimes I wonder if I should really take any credit for Golgotha. He is, as I have often said, one part Red Skull, one part Doctor Doom, with just a soupçon of the Humongous from THE ROAD WARRIOR.

***

J.K. Rowling takes credit for Harry Potter, even though he's a mash up of Dickens, British boarding school drama, Lord of the Rings and (just maybe) Neil Gaiman's Tim Hunter (who bears more than a few similarities with the Boy Who Lived).

Thing is, she's the one who put these pre-existing elements together in new ways and infused the creation with a distinctive voice.

I don't think you need second guess yourself about Golgotha, JB. You might be aware of all the pieces from which he's made but the rest of us see and appreciate what you made from them.
