JB, did you get any $ from Guardians of the Galaxy 2?

••

I echo Vinny's question. Plus, it would be at least a year before any money would flow my way.

Ah, it's not a character JB created, but a whole chunk of the movie is lifted from one of his stories...I was curious whether that meant $ was due.

Which story? I'm not recognizing anything in the clips I've seen.

Just did some googling and discovered there is a lot of GotG stuff with my name attached over on Amazon. One volume apparently reprints the SHE-HULK arc in which I used Rocket Racoon. But one lists my contribution as "text".

Uhmmmm.....

I believe, without over-spoiling, that a major portion of the plot is a rework of FF #235.

If true, then I suppose it will all come down to whether Marvel's accounting department thinks like DC's.

I just wandered thru a Google search of different renderings of Ego. So many! And somewhat gratifying to note that most of the artists seemed to be taking it seriously.

(Yes, one of my occasional bouts with insomnia!)

It occurs to me I should have said "whether Disney's accounting department thinks like Warner's."
