Hi JB,
Been rereading your run on AF. Had a question regarding Shaman. I noticed that his wife, Kathryn, and his grandfather had passed away on the same day. Then in the issue where Guardian died Snowbird makes a comment to Shaman about this. Then Guardian dies on the same day.

Was this going to be a continuing thing with Shaman having lose people close to him on this day or was it simply a cosmic coincidence that this happened?

Thank you.

FUTURE PLOTLINE!!
Shaman finds a way to defeat Death (at a cost of course, being his own
life), and brings them all back on that day! Write it up, JB!!

I'd never picked up on this before and just returned to the run in the hope that Elizabeth's almost demise in issues27/28 was also on said anniversary but it was not to be.

That said, at the risk of going over old ground, there is so much in this series that I think is unrivalled in the super hero genre. It truly is the run that keeps on giving and, with the exception of Michel Fiffe's self-published COPRA and JB's NEXT MEN, I'm not sure if I have come across a team book that handles such a large cast so well.

I saw AF described recently, and it may have been on this book, as a soap opera and whilst this does it a tad disservice, with all the connotations towards poor quality, I can see the similarities.
