Hasn`t The Thing been featured in Guardians Of The
Galaxy comic recently?Sadly nothing of current Marvel
comics appeals to me.

You're all forgetting about Hulkverine.  It's the Hulk mixed with Wolverine, you guys.  I can say without hyperbole that it's the most important moment in the history of comic books.  Marvel triumphant!

We can say all we want about the business practices of the company, but, if you comic fans aren't reading the books that Stuart Immonen is illustrating, you're missing out.
ASM 28 was great.

I understand this is a 10 issue series - they're mixing the OLD Marvel hero version with the "new" ( ??) Marvel version.
Patsy Walker / Hellcat was cancelled early by Marvel, so when I called MARVEL Subscriptions, which is run by Midtown Comics in NYC, the rep told me what he knew about the series (kind of odd how Marvel keeps some of its own series under wraps, even to its subscriber base!).

So, Marvel is changing the industry forever with homage variant covers.

Wow.

Wow, I can hardly believe how lame this reveal was. Marvel is just bad at comics.

I really feel like I'm missing something here.. From what I'm seeing Marvel is doing another event book called "Legacy" that'll be some drawn out story (that'll probably run late and get extended extra issues) and are putting back the numbering to what they *think* the numbering would be if they hadn't relaunched the titles so many times? Also I'm seeing a few new titles and most books getting yet another variant cover. Am I missing something? I really really feel like I am.

I do wonder if the variant covers will be gated for the shops. If Marvel runs true to form shops will only get those if they order 50+ issues of some title that wouldn't sell 5.

Marvel's newest buzzword is "game changer"....as in, this latest mega crossover piece of crap is a "game changer" for the entire industry.
