Is there a comic book series or run that has never been
collected in trade that you'd like to see?

Being apart of this forum, I've noticed that it attracts
a lot of lurkers who maybe are in positions to make these
things happen so, I thought maybe if we discuss our
favorites, maybe we can make something happen.

Mine is Mike Grell's WARLORD from DC. I wasn't collecting
when it started, most of what I know about it comes from
a couple of issues I've manged to pick up and an episode
of JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED. But, I know enough to want
to read more and Mike Grell artwork looks outstanding. A
couple of stories were collected years ago, but the
series has never gotten a good collected treatment.

What would you folks like to see?

Having sold my childhood collection years ago, I would love to get a lot of those (and the years just before) back in collected form.  I honestly don't know (or care) what's been collected in B&W or (overpriced) hardcover, but there's quite a bit I would snap up in good color softcover editions.  I'm afraid a lot of what I would love to see may not be "cool" enough to collect though--

FLASH--The entire Cary Bates/Irv Novick run
JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA--The brilliant Steve Englehart year (which he was told won't be collected because "no one wants to see Dick Dillin artwork"--Really?!?)
SHAZAM--All the Bridwell/Newton stories from WORLD'S FINEST
INCREDIBLE HULK--The whole Sal Buscema run, from Len Wein to Bill Mantlo
CAPTAIN AMERICA--Everything from the 60's and 70's that hasn't been collected yet
KILLRAVEN--How is it that the McGregor/Russell epic has not been collected?
LOGAN'S RUN--The amazing Kraft/Perez 5-issue adaptation is one of the best comics ever!  This is one book I would buy in oversize hardcover!
JIM STARLIN--Starlin has a number of fill-in issues (GHOST RIDER #36, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #?, etc.) that really should be collected sometime.

Oh, I could keep going!

Stephen Churay - DC Comics Showcase Presents had a collection of "Warlord" - black and white, but that Grell art still shines. Is that what you were referring to?

Eric Jansen - Marvel Essentials had a collection of Killraven - is that suitable to your desires?

What collections would I like to see?
I'd like to get a collection of Marvel Family stories. DC had one Archives issue, but I think it only included Marvel Family #1 and 2. I'd enjoy seeing more.

The Thing vol 2, by Dan Slott, back in 2006. I thought those were fun and a really good read.

I'd like Gold Key to assemble the Hanna Barbera Super Hero books. There was Hanna Barbera Super TV Heroes, Hanna Barbera Hi Adventure Heroes, a standalone Space Ghost book, a Frankenstein Jr. and the Impossibles book... there were quite a few. That would make a lovely collection! (I don't know who owns the rights to Gold Key right now, but both Marvel and DC had Space Ghost stories, and between DC's Cartoon Network Presents and Marvel's Hanna Barbera TV Stars and Comico's Space Ghost book and... well, I think there's enough material. :)

There were collections started of the Superfriends, and also of Jim Aparo's Brave and the Bold team-ups and Batman and the Outsiders - I'd like to see those followed up.

I'm kind of a Kid Flash geek. I'd like to get some of those stories. Maybe not the Teen Titans stories, but between the Flash back up stories, Brave and the Bold #54, and some other significant appearances, I think it'd be cool.

I want the non-reprint stories from Super Team Family in a collection.

One of the the DC TV series was Adventures in the DC Universe... I really want that collection too!

For a span in the 90s, DCs annuals had a common theme, e.g., Elseworlds, Tales of the Dead Earth, etc. Some of those collections would be nice; I'd like those.

And I hope the first two I noted above will fulfill a dream or two for Stephen and Eric.

I honestly can't think of any comic series that isn't already collected in some format already.

I still want a new collection of the old Monster Society of Evil Captain
Marvel. It's free online but I simply can't read comics on a computer.
The previous collections go for hundreds of dollars, you'd think DC
would answer the demand.

The one that always pops in my head is "The Black Terror" by Dan Brereton, Beau Smith and Chuck Dixon. It's the one big Brereton project that isn't collected.

Oooh, Eric Jansen, it's like you are reading my mind. Please do provide more suggestions, by all means.
