If we literally equate Gladiator to Superman, my money would be on him.

Same. If Gladiator throw the Hulk into orbit then he's pretty much done.

The two characters, the rubble and the stars, what's not to love! Great stuff JB.

I'm surprised Colossus lasted as long against Gladiator as he did.
In my head, the Hulk is stronger, but like Superman, Gladiator hits and lifts with more than just strength.

The hard part of playing this game is that we must set aside our love for particular characters and assess the combatants "realistically".(No, Batman could not defeat Galactus!)

Fantastic commission! For some reason, the rope belt just makes the piece for me. Old school Hulk in the best way possible!

Ah… It sounds like you may have heard the ol' "Batman would win because he cheats." line, too.

I balked when I first read that from Mark Waid, in an interview in WIZARD magazine about why Batman would coming out the victor if the JLA members fought each other. My first thought in debating that notion was: Really? Pretty much all the villains "cheat" and yet the other JLA members could soundly trash those criminals. Waid's comment supposes the rest of the JLA are morons.
Anyway.... back to the commission again...

Waid's comment also defines Batman taking full advantage of his abilities as "cheating". Of course, it gets a big laugh from ennui-engorged fanboys.

I see Batman as the kind of guy that says Whatever it takes to get the job done. If that means resorting to fighting dirty. Well that's what he has to do.
I don't subscribe to the notion that Batman can be anyone if he has enough time to plan it out.
