I balked when I first read that from Mark Waid, in an interview in WIZARD magazine about why Batman would coming out the victor if the JLA members fought each other. My first thought in debating that notion was: Really? Pretty much all the villains "cheat" and yet the other JLA members could soundly trash those criminals. Waid's comment supposes the rest of the JLA are morons.

***

Is there a scan of this anywhere? Because while we found out that Batman has contingency plans for "taking out" the whole JLA in the "Tower of Babel" storyline almost 20 years ago, and Waid wrote that story, it had nothing to do with "cheating." Just Batman being smart enough to pinpoint the weaknesses of every single JLA member.

Adam, I can't recall the issue of WIZARD that the Waid comment was in, anymore. I believe it was discussed before in a thread on the forum, though.

John I can't put my finger on why but this piece looks so different to me than
your normal fork. Did you do something different or is just me? Not saying
it's not awesome but it seems different somehow.

Lovely work. Nice match up that seems pretty natural... and yes, Gladiator should win in straight sets. (So should Superman, Sentry, Captain Marvel, Sentry, Mon-El, Hyperion, etc.)

Nothing is consciously different, tho I have noticed I am drifting toward a heavier line again.
