I'd forgotten all about Whisper. I wonder how I ever imagined that costume could have been managed with the coloring of the time!

It's always a nostalgic blast for me to see JB of that vintage. Thank you, Cory!

The Centaur character makes me long for JB to do his version of "The Iliad," or just anything from Classical Greece.

Centaur is an example of my masochism! Imagine have to draw all those wheels from multiple angles, in accurate perspective, fifty or sixty times in an issue!

Oy!

Locksmith is pretty impressive -- if that character hadn't been created by JB years ago, it would almost appear to be a character intended to cash in on the popularity of Game Of Thrones.

Nevertheless, awesome-looking character, JB, sorry we'll never know his story.

These characters  would be great to see in a comic series.

Bringing to mind Walt Simonson's story of the fan who demanded to know how he and Archie Goodwin had managed to rip off Frank Miller's ninjas in MANHUNTER, years before Frank was even working in comics!!

This is pure gold!!  Thank you for posting these, Cory!

"Bernie Rosenthal" is a great name - I picture a little old man when I hear it, and of course she is a cute woman.  I guess I don't know many people named "Bernadette"!!
