I was just in Italy earlier this month and drank some Coke Zero Sugar. I thought that it was just a relabel of the US variety, so I didn't notice any difference in taste. But I wasn't actually looking for any difference, either.

I selfishly want them to drop Diet Coke. There are still too many restaurants that carry Diet Coke, but not Zero, which I prefer.

I've thought the exact same thing, Michael. I've sworn by Coke Zero for years.

I used to prefer Coca-Cola. Needed that sugar kick.

Diet Coke tasted like drainwater!

Then there's Coke Zero. It's not got any sugar in - always a bonus - but I did not like the taste.

And then one day I tried something new: I'd put on a bit of weight so went on a sugar detox (this was in 2016). I added a slice of lemon and a slice of lime to Coke Zero. And it gives it that "kick".

I'm now doing the same with other sugar-free drinks. Give it a try (but only if you like lemon/lime slices).

Mr. Byrne - why mess with success? Because there's still 2½%* of the market out there to capture, even at the expense of the rest of the purchasing public. Dare I bring up "New Coke" again?

Well, I mean without drinking it.

Personally, I do not like the taste of Coke Zero. I might conceivably like Coke Not-Zero, but I will never try it. Hell, if I had MY way, I'd still be drinking Tab.

*Slight variation in analysis of this statistic on the order of 95% plus or minus...

Never tried New Coke. Did it even sell in the UK? I don't recall it being sold anywhere.

I've sworn at coke zero for years. No diet coke mean no business from me. Coke zero tastes too much like real coke with aspartame to me. It's better than Diet Pepsi but not by much.
