I just got a refurbished comic by Pop Hollinger this week. It's Fighting Yank #2. I remember as a kid my cousin, talking about him and how he "Fixed" comics. Just a few weeks ago my cousin came across several and I was able to get one.

I will post a photo of it when I can figure out how to get it to the correct size. The book is in great shape, bright colors. There is about 1/8 of an inch cut off the top, bottom and sides of the book. This was to clean off flaking and feathering. Next he used cloth tape on the inside cover to strengthen that it. He also re stapled the book with two stapes as opposed to the original one staple.
Its cool, that he wanted the books to last. This one sure has.
