For what it's worth, I believe the first OHOTMU had it
this way, but the second volume had Thor at the top.
------------------------------------------------------------ --------
OHOTMU Deluxe Edition went out of its way to avoid the question of who was the very strongest by designating top tier strongfolk as "Class 100". This was anyone who could lift (press) more than 100 tonnes. Thor, Hercules and Wonderman were all Class 100. IIRC Hulk's strength level was classified as being able to lift 90 tonnes at his base level, rising to Class 100 as he got angrier.

Andrew B. - so now you see what I intended this thread to be Hulk free, yes? I don't care about a good argument, and the Hulk is one of the swell ones - which is why I wanted to leave him out.

I subscribe to the specialist rule too - so I'm going with Hercules.

I do not subscribe to the specialist rule so it's Thor beating the Hulk two falls out of every five. Herc beats Thor one out of every ten and Thor has to be looking the other way when Herc hits him.

Of course, every now and then, Cannonball or Doc Samson wins via that lame "one lucky punch." (Cue eye roll.)

Friends, let's not mistake "better fighter" for "strongest." Wundarr, the Aquarian, had super strength, but I suspect he'd be a lousy hand to hand combatant.

We KNOW that Batman HAS BEATEN the Hulk... but we also know who's stronger in that comparison. (If you're unclear, stick around and ask me after class. :)
