Lois Lane has a pretty good track record on TV casting... hope the CW doesn't blow it!

-----

I'm hoping they stay consistent and avoid casting a Lois who is too young. She's supposed to be the contemporary of a thirty-something Clark and the older sister to Jenna Dewan's Lucy Lane, who was an Army Major in the JAG Corps.

Personally, I thought they should have cast someone else as Lucy. Because Jenna Dewan would make a great Lois.

I'm looking forward to the Batwoman series. Butso far, I'm not impressed with Black Lightning. The villains are boring, and if James Remar ever leaves the show, I'm probably done with it. (The cast is great, but the writing...not so much.)

I have lost a lot of faith in the Arrowverse shows. Seasons 1 and 2 of Arrow were great, as was season 1 of The Flash.

Now they just seem bloated with too many characters weak villains (The Flash especially, and given his Rogues how that can be I don't know), and soap opera plots.

Re-watching the 1990 Flash TV Series, Barry Allen had one person who knew his secret ID, and it worked. The Barry in that show was intelligent, capable and could work out things to do with his speed himself, and Tina McGee was there for science problems beyond Barry's knowledge and as as support. They also utilised his job as a police scientist to a good degree for stories. The 2014 Barry relies on everyone in the lab to tell him everything!!

Anyway, rant over.

Ehh...

My only big gripe with THE FLASH is that too many people know Barry's secret identity.

This year's Arrowverse crossover will not only introduce Ruby Rose's Batwoman, but it's now been announced that the three-night event will also see the return of Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) and the debut of Lois Lane.

***

I'm hoping against hope that Hoechilin will be wearing something much closer to the traditional Superman costume. I expect to be disappointed.

Ehhh....

Not thrilled about the casting, but not bothered by it, either.

Jenna Dewan would have made a better Lois than Lucy.

(By the way, Jenna is older than Elizabeth by about a month and a half.)

DC announced that the three night Arrowverse crossover beginning December 9th is titled Elseworlds. (?)

Also, LaMonica Garrett (best known for his work on "Designated Survivor") has been cast as The Monitor, who helped the heroes of alternate earths battle the evil Anti-Monitor in the DC Comics crossover event Crisis On Infinite Earths.

Interesting....

-C!

I believe we saw in the Flash that the Crisis is in 2024... unless I'm misremembering.

Of course, it affected ALL times... so sure, it could happen in 2018 too. Maybe we'll even get a few more Legionnaires.

I'll give the show credit. They keep coming up with things that make me want to watch. I don't, but they still almost get me there.

How funny would it be if Cryer played this with a dead-on Hackman impersonation?
