From their official Twitter account:

For the future, does anyone know how to resize images on this forum? I am using a Chromebook, by the way.

I go into edit in my gallery.click on `Re-size` then
reduce the largest amount of pixels(Be it horizontal or
vertical) to 499 pixels, using Chrome on a laptop.
Great pic!

Thanks, Bill.

Must admit, still getting used to finding my way around the Chromebook's apps. So different in some ways to a Windows laptop or Mac!

OK, I'm going to be a bit of a Sabbath geek here, but no way this their first official photo in 1968. They weren't Black Sabbath until 1969. And in December '68/January '69, Tony Iommi was a member of Jethro Tull. Earlier in 1968, the band that became Sabbath was called Earth. The possibly 1969 pic via Twitter does not, to me, look like the hair and clothes of 1968. But look at this pic of Earth from 1968:

Compare that with this pic from 1970:

And now here is the one supposedly from 1968:
Nope, can't be.

I know what you mean, Michael. I shared it as it was a tweet from their official account, but I do understand your point.

The late '60s were before my time, but I think I have to side with Michael, because it doesn't seem as if hair in general was being grown quite that long until late '69 or '70.

Always use the Beatles as a barometer, is my motto.  They pretty much led the charge for hair styles in the '60s!

Seems like hair didn't get as long as Black Sabbath's until at least 1970!
