I think we all appreciate Mr. Byrne's art, of all his phases. Given your choice, what would you like from him? If you were to get a gift paid for by Scrooge McDuck* of anything from Mr. Byrne, what commission would you want? Limit it to a drawing or two, or at the most, a single issue of a book.

I have two pieces in mind that I'd really like. One is an arm wrestling contest between She-Hulk and Diana, with the Thing as the "table", contemplating the revoltingness of the development.

The other is a full size sketch of Charlie America, Leaping Lumpkin of World War II (a la Not Brand Echh of bygone days... sigh.)

Give me two or three ideas - what would you want?

*An investment on future returns from the JBF members, of course...

For a while I've wanted to get a commission of a Xmas party scene at Avenger Mansion with some classic members and some non-Avenger guests.  One of the reasons (besides cost) that I haven't requested it is that I can't decide if I want the thinner version of Jarvis from the past couple of decades...or the more rotund version from when I started reading.

My other dream commission is Earth's greatest Golden Age Heroes - Captain Marvel, Plastic Man, The Spirit and the Black Cat (Harvey Comics) versus Dr. Sivana, a giant robot, and P'Gell.

I would ask for a commission of a smiling Fantastic Four (in their original
uniforms) displaying their powers and surrounded by JB's choice of small
scenes showing confrontations with various foes.

I would ask for a commission of the Next Men similar to this one…

…but with everyone looking (if not happy) confident and with Jazz more
prominently featured.

I would pick something non-comicbook.

1. From "The Iliad," Achilles dragging the body of Hector, with an anguished Priam looking down from the walls of Troy.

2. Moses confronting Pharaoh.

The Fantastic Four battling Superman,Batman,Robin and Wonder Woman at Shea Stadium as the Beatles perform circa 1964.

following Michael Penn's suggestion of non comic book
Neil Armstrong's one small step

Dr. Doom and his bots* vs. the original Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

Some Star Wars/Star Trek mashup.

* the ones with the round heads, not Doombots

An issue of Agent Red versus Sathannas prior
to the events of 2112.I'd like to see Agent
Red's disfigurement. As a single commission,
it's gotta be Buddy Blank being transformed by
Brother Eye into OMAC (as depicted in JB's
underrated OMAC miniseries).

I always said my dream commission was "New Gods vs
Apokalips, go crazy". I ended up getting that (pretty
much) in four parts. Not quite the same thing, but
close.

Either.....

Captain America, Union Jack and Spitfire vs. Baron Blood, Warrior Woman and Red Skull, in a World War II setting, with Cap either throwing his shield at Baron Blood or hitting him with a haymaker. Red Skull would be in the green jumpsuit, not the Gestapo uniform. (Alternate idea: A re-do of the last page of Captain America #253, but with the camera pulled back a little bit farther.)

Or

Something involving Batman (no oval, and not the new look with a yellow border around the bat) and She-Hulk. Maybe She-Hulk holding the Joker by the collar with one hand and about to punch him with her other hand, while they both look up to see Batman crouching on a tree branch or the top of a brick fence right above them.
