Hadn't heard of it until now, Mr Schulman. So thanks for the heads-up.

I have a plan to watch every Godzilla movie ever made.

I hope you've got a lot of time on your hands!

Note: this is an anime movie, the first one with any version of Godzilla. I watched it in Japanese with English subtitles.

Terribly disappointing...45 minutes of excruciating talking head monotony before anything happens of real significance. Shot after relentless shot of people looking at computer screens featuring bad interface design.

Godzilla, when he finally shows up in full glory, looks fantastic-- but in the recent vein of SHIN GODZILLA-- is virtually immobile and doesn't really drive the action in any memorable way. It's much more frustrating than fun.

Saw it, then spent the rest of the day wishing I hadn't. It was just absolute shit.

I'm a bit surprised by the venom! I found it entertaining, at least.

Every re-imagining and re-design of Godzilla just moves the creature further and further away from what I loved as a kid. This version is simply a large monolith that looks like an over-inflated dinosaur.

I found the story to be tedious and boring, with Godzilla inserted where any monster or pestilence could have been. There is nothing uniquely "Godzilla" about this film. I was not impressed.
