Mr Byrne, sincere apologies for my "not personalized?" comment at your Sunday panel. For what it's worth, the comment was 100% candid and absolutely not malicious. Very sorry that it came off that way. It didn't cross my mind the sig would be of much importance to you after spending much quality time with him or after all the love and praise he gave you at his panel just before. My mistake. I feel especially bad since you certainly didn't rain on my parade this past week end. You were very generous with your time and kindly indulged all my picture & autograph requests on Fri & Sat.

Anyway I'm glad to hear that - one moronic fan comment aside - you had a good time at the con.

I would assume the panel with you and Shatner was professionally filmed by Fan Expo and that they will hand you a copy. If not, please know that I made a video from the first row and will be more than happy to send you a copy.

Thanks again.

Quick impressions:
JB, love the T-shirt.
Great photos!
So very glad you had such a wonderful experience with Mr. Shatner. It's impossible to say if a moment will live up to expectations, much less exceed them, but it appears that it did.
And you met some amazing people this past weekend! How incredible is that??
Looks as though this was one for the scrapbook, the one you put on the coffee table and casually mention, "Oh, and if you flip to page six, there's me and Bill..." :)
Way to go!

I told Constance that my greatest fear was that I would never again be able to watch STAR TREK.

Not a problem!!

Wow!
Thanks for sharing the pics from Chris Ryall, JB!

Fantastic to see two of my heroes meeting - your good self and William Shatner  :)

Btw : Will the New Visions Omnibus be available to buy online, or is it
only sold at conventions?

Those pictures are pure gold!!

I am green with envy over missing this!! Just seeing the picture yesterday led me to flip through some NEW VISIONS, which led me to read the last two stories of the series. Your storytelling was on fire on these last two, JB - what a series.

Perhaps the most amazing thing here, is to look at that picture of Bill and me shaking hands next to a hardcover omnibus of NEW VISIONS and think back to THIS!

JB, thanks for the details on your convention experience and the pics you shared. I have never been able to make it to any of the cons you've attended in the past few years, so these posts are somewhat allowing me to do so vicariously.

This time around I was prevented from going due to starting up my shop again at another spot in town. I know your appearances are limited these days, but I remain hopeful that eventually I'll get to meet you in person.

Really considering taking the trip to Toronto (though I'd have to talk someone into driving the five hours - I can't currently fly). Are you going to be in Toronto for all four days, JB?
