Scott Dunbier has asked me to post an alert here in the Forum. He's looking for X-MEN art by yours truly, all the way from 108 to 143.

If any of you know how to get hold of any such art, please get in touch with Scott at....

Tanx!

hello,

Do you know if he is looking to buy it or simply to understand whether he can have access (i.e. photos) of it?

Doesn't he also want the three pages you did in Uncanny X-Men # 273?

Reach out to Scott, folks. JB has communicated the important info here-- if you can respond to this request, seek out Scott. He's a great guy, honest.

JB: I've read Marvel used a few different systems for allocating the original art between pencilers and inkers, ranging from shuffling a deck of playing cards, or for established teams returning entire issues, with every third one going to the inker. What kind of system did you and Terry use on X-MEN?

Since I was up in Canada, and unable to come into the office on a regular basis to sort thru the pages, I told the art return department to just take every other page, then every other page of what was left, and so on, until my allocation was reached.

Sounds fair....I always wondered how they sorted pages if the penciller gets more than half the pages.

Bumped into Scott at WonderCon over the weekend. He said the deadline for contributions to this book was coming fast.

Just a heads-up to anyone who was thinking about sending a scan but hadn't gotten around to it.

I think at WildStorm the split was penciler gets two for every one the inker gets. Naturally there's some squabbling for double page spreads.
