Dan's a great guy and has done the yeoman's work of this forum for no other reason than because he's a true fan.  Big props to you, my friend, and I'm hoping for a speedy recovery.  Thoughts to you and the family that is no doubt serving as an endless source of courage and strength.

It has not been my good fortune ever to have met Dan or to know much about him personally, but he's certainly provided a service to this group and the description of him by his children at the Gofundme link (for which, Tim, much thanks) speaks very well of him indeed.

Hey -- I don't post very often around here, but I was searching to find out what happened to the GALLERY link and found this thread.  I had no idea DAN did so much for this forum and it's been several months since this last post - I hope he's doing better.  I couldn't find any updates, just a thread from January about the incident.
