Meanie landlord doesn't allow pets in this studio apartment (boo, hiss!), but my family have a lovely cat called Max. No photo (if I find one, I'll share it), but he's the world's laziest cat. He barely moves. He has a disinterested look on his face.

I am convinced he is the reincarnation of a sloth.

I had to take care of a large Husky once, beautiful dog but a lot of work, and you don't want to take them anywhere it gets very warm what with all that fur. Ate like a Wookie; the bags of chow were almost too heavy for me to do more than drag, and walkies were a potential final voyage a couple times he was so strong (remembering him coming toward me with the leg from a moose after I'd let him off-leash for awhile, and the roll in some muddy muskeg... no don't shake your... too late).

Here's a couple more yard photos too. I would get a cat again if I'm going to be settled in one place. It's the absence of them however which means we get these critters around our yard here these days.

One of the deer wandering the yard at 6 this morning. It will be Sophie's job to keep the deer out of the yard.

Nice to have such creatures in your yard! We`re lucky to
get the odd hedgehog, fox or frog! Although i have seen
badger roadkill on my way to work in the last couple of
weeks, so they`re nearby!
I must add, it`s nice to see our members` pets!

Ben (pictured below) is not happy with the addition of Sophie to the household. Ben is the friendliest of our cats and he likes contact with humans.

Ben is the offspring of Firecracker and brother to Wally.

Here is Sparky. She is the daughter of Firecracker, but is from a subsequent litter.

About the only time I can get near her is when I feed the cats. She will tolerate some contact. Her long hair gets rather matted like Simba's, (her father).

Steve Coates' Legion Of Super-Pets! Super cute at least. :^)

We had a cool new addition here too (cool because everyone knows 'the fawns' is cool, ayyyy). Looking out my back door (and believe it or not were aren't rural in the least, just not so developed... Goldie Fawn? Fawnya Harding? Not Fawn Solo though because the Mum is present. They are in the yard again today.
