1.Fantastic Four
2.Superman
3.Alpha Flight
4.Action
5.The High Ways
6.The Crew
7.The Cold War
8.Trio
9.The Incredible Hulk
10.Next Men
That was actually easy for me.

JB, I don't know if you'll see this, but I
really would like to express how much I
thought your run of IDW books were you at
absolute peak form. If that winds up being
the last comic book work you draw, you
walked away like Ted Williams.

Doom Patrol isn't rating too well? :^( That's what I'm reading for the first time right now and I think it's great. I'm stopping right at the middle of the run to read the six JLAs now though, even knowing what happened kind of it's still top drawer. I had a lot of the '60s Doom Patrol, from My Greatest #80 to #121, and even the '70s Showcase issues, but this is more exciting, it's going to be depressing to get to #18 even knowing there is a sort of cross-over with the '60s comics coming up for me.

There still enough I haven't read or seen to really feel I could make a legitimate top 10

1. Fantastic Four
2. X-Men (late '70s/early '80s)
3. Captain America (early '80s)
4. X-Men: The Hidden Years
5. Avengers (main title in the late '70s/early '80s)
6. Marvel Two-in-One/The Thing
7. Alpha Flight
8. The Doom Patrol/JLA
9. Silver Surfer
10. Star Trek: Assignment Earth
Honorable mentions. Marvel Team-Up and Iron Fist because the writing was so variable. "Only spilt seconds to react or I'm done, losing consciousness, no, I must remember what I was taught as a child back in..." Urkkk! Death by Claremont thought balloon. :^)

But I only saw the first few Supermans and only stopped because I was mad about Supergirl being killed off somewhere else and paraded around dead on various Crisis and Legion covers. Also I never saw the later She-Hulk, Next Men, Omac, Lost Generation, or Namor, but I think I would rate Lost Generation and Namor highly for sure; next after the Doom Patrol run...

Oops, I forgot The Champions in the '70s including Hulk Annual #7; short but I liked it for a lot of reasons.

1. Next Men
2. Uncanny X-Men
3. Fantastic Four
4. Star Trek: New Visions
5. Cold War
6. Fourth World
7. She-Hulk
8. Doomsday.1
9. Wonder Woman
10. Danger Unlimited

That was hard! I am sure I will change my mind the moment I post this, but this is the top ten as of tonight!

Oh yeah, I didn't even think of those Charlton comics. Doomsday +1 and Rog 2000 were pretty cool.

I'm not referencing the Charlton title - I'm listing DOOMSDAY.1, the 2013 IDW series. One of JB's best that still has a lot of potential for more stories.

Ah, Hulk Annual #7. My introduction to the work of our gracious host!

I loved that book.

Bob did list Doomsday +1 earlier, Tim. Not sure if that was what Rebecca was referring to or if she didn't know about JB's Doomsday .1 from IDW. I  picked The High Ways from his IDW work but  it was a hard choice between that and Doomsday .1

I did see Doomsday.1 and as it seemed to have different characters I wasn't sure if it was a continuation of the '70s +1 so I've been erring on the side of Assignment Earth. :^) I guess that Charlton Doomsday +1 was reprinted at least twice as #7-12 were just the original #1-6 with different covers taken from interior panels, and then Fantagraphics reprinted it again plus the 'unpublished' original #7 that actually turned up first in Charlton Bullseye Magazine #4 & 5. I would've bought anything with the kind of lavish color covers as on Doomsday +1 #2-6... I think #4 was one of the best covers of all time (along with Uncanny X-Men #114). Rog 2000 was reprinted by Paciifc in the early '80s too, plus Modern Comics reprints of the E-Mans with it in I think, so a lot of the Charlton stuff is easy to see (waiting only for that clothbound Wheelie & the Chopper Bunch now that Space: 1999 Classics comics have been re-done).
