Saying silly things may -- possibly -- lose you an election (though it didn't seem to particularly harm Trump when running as a hopeful), but is unlikely to precipitate an impeachment.

Short of concrete developments with Mueller's investigation, the most likely avenue by which Trump says bye-bye to the Presidency is by being voted out in 2020.

And history teaches us that a sitting President tends to do pretty well when running for a second term.

Question: someone was telling me that there are a bunch of countries who didn't like Obama and are glad to see Trump running the USA. Who are these countries? I've only heard of Obama being well liked internationally.

Israel. Probably Russia too.

Well, if all the bankruptcies and lawsuits didn't make people question picking Trump as their genius businessman to fix things... his fabled great charm seems to be very strong on some and a total flop with others (like me). Where is the 'charming' for Canada ever? Is it just for miserable dictators like he seems to want to become? Never mind, his 'charming' might make me more ill than when he's calling names and blaming. :^|

Thanks for sharing that, Rebecca.

Every day feels like "The Twilight Zone" with 45 in charge. I have to pinch myself sometimes when I see the latest tweet attacking SNL or calling every news organisation 'fake news' (well, except the ones that give him favourable coverage).

Saying silly things to some, unstable, impacting millions economically and plain absurd lies to others.

Having told so many mistruths or whatever peoiple might want to call them will get him removed from office because he has told so many. Right now he is acting like the Comey finding justifies his firing and criticisms of Comey, but what Comey did wrong was harmful to Clinton just before election day while not disclosing similarly the investigations into the Trump campaign for ties to foreign agents on the FBI radar and that dossier from the MI5 agent in England of things Trump could be extorted by Russia with.Trump would have people think the new ruling vindicates his finding fault with Comey but he found fault of a completely different sort, investigating him at all even though people weren't aware of it until after he was declared the winner.

There's a record there of him simply not learning in business or any other area, doing the same things over and over for decades. He can only point to ratings and crowd sizes as a justification not actual performance or much success not involving those two things. He makes things up so often because he has to; shortcomings showing all over the place. Your belief in him is most of all he's got just like any confidence man. You have to believe in things like charm and basically magic to have him work out, he doesn't work out even on paper.

(edited to fix one small typo)

For me, when it comes to Calgary, or Canada in general, there is no "back". I lived in Canada for about 22 years. I've lived in the USandA for thirty eight!

Besides, Connecticut is like the best parts of both. (Except Calgary didn't get hurricanes!)
