I've never read an adaptation of A NEW HOPE, so am intrigued by that.

I enjoy the original Archie Goodwin/Howard Chaykin adaptation, Robbie!
G.I Joe A Real American Hero #255- Always a solid read. Extermination #2- I gave this a chance but not my cup of tea so it's dropped now. I like Ed Brisson but I just don't care about the young X-Men apparently.

This is just a thought, but I was wondering, when we name what comics we are picking up, why not add a few words? Why not say WHY you're buying a title? How about commenting on a particular run?
It'd be interesting to have some insight. Perhaps you picked up a book because a particular writer or artist had returned; maybe you picked up a book as you really like a particular villain; or maybe you haven't read a comic in a while - and have jumped aboard again. It would be great to read more about why people are buying certain books.

Robbie - a great suggestion. I used to do that, but these days, for one reason or another, I'm often miles behind on my titles. Often they sit on my shelf and then I'll do a Netflix and read a bunch to catch up. Nevertheless, here goes:
- HARLEY QUINN GOSSAMER SPECIAL #1 - This is one that I'll be picking up for my son. He's way more into Harley Quinn than I am.
- DAREDEVIL ANNUAL #1 - I'm not sure if this is going to tie into the regular story-line or not. Daredevil is one of the titles I'm relatively caught up on (I think I'm one issue behind.
- EXTERMINATION #2 (OF 5) - The first issue looked intriguing so I picked it up (but haven't read it yet). It's a mini-series, so I'll see it all the way through.
- X-MEN BLUE #34 - One of those titles that I'm considerably behind on.

Thanks, Phil!
Regarding Harley Quinn, I did like her, but like Deadpool and others, she seems so ubiquitous now.

Marvel 2 in 1 #9 - I'm hoping they find Reed & Sue before FF #2 comes out, this is a good series, but they could have postponed FF until they reunite them...
It's starting to go somewhere with this issue, in a good direction...

Marvel Two-In-One #9 GI Joe #255
(Sorry, Robbie - I just finished a massive Superman Family re-read and I'm now going through an early 80s DC phase, so I'm about 6 months behind on new stuff. When I get caught up I'll be more chatty.)

Thanks for engaging, guys. I thought it'd be interesting rather than all of us, myself included, posting "shopping lists".
I know the feeling about being behind. I'm behind with G.I. JOE.
It can be interesting to learn why people are picking up books. Example: Scorpion is one of my favourite Marvel supervillains. So I'd buy a book if he was in it. When he appeared in ALPHA FLIGHT (early 90s), it got me buying the book.
Even if there's a title I have never gravitated towards, if a character I like (e.g. Kingpin or Juggernaut) is in it, I'll pick it up.
