Panthers are the worst 6-3 team I've ever seen.

Sunday, November 11

  • Lions at Bears - WTF Lions?  You suck!
  • Saintsat Bengals - Bengals might rise above since it's not it prime time.
  • Falconsat Browns - I have so much hatred for the Browns' this season.  Why not just have a drawing every week to see who gets to coach the next game?
  • Patriotsat Titans - Titans will never have the lead.
  • Jaguars at Colts - Two teams that, if they were having a cooking contest, could burn water.  This would be an auto-disagree for me if Matt were to go first.
  • Cardinals at Chiefs - Surprised they didn't flex this to three or four seasons from now.
  • Bills at Jets - Division chemistry could make this very entertaining.
  • Redskins at Buccaneers - No faith in either team.  I will be wrong no matter what.
  • Chargersat Raiders - The Chargers are quietly kicking butt out there.
  • Dolphins at Packers - Packers need someone to kick around.
  • Seahawks at Rams - Stealth classic.
  • Cowboys at Eagles - Oof both teams need to stop sucking.

Monday, November 12

  • Giants at 49ers - Will not be watching this POS 'contest'.

The Giants and 49ers will be hot garbage. I bet only loyal, diehard fans, gamblers with skin in the game, and masochists will be watching.

The Rams' defense might very well overwhelm the Seahawks. Won't be a shutout, though. The Rams are my current pick to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. Which would be fine if that dirty piece of trash Suh wasn't on their roster.

I'm only picking the Eagles to beat the Cowboys due to Jason `should have been fired already' Garrett's completely boneheaded decision to have Scott `he needs to go, too' Linehan call the offensive plays.

The Bills-Jets was a flip a coin game for me. I'm picking the Dolphins over the Packers sheerly by hope. The rest of my picks are solid ones that I am happy with.

Sunday, November 11

  • Lions at Bears
  • Saints at Bengals
  • Falcons at Browns
  • Patriots at Titans
  • Jaguars at Colts
  • Cardinals at Chiefs
  • Bills at Jets
  • Redskins at Buccaneers - HAGERMAN DISAGREES!!!  No faith in this pick, but it's the only difference I could cobble together.  Wouldn't at all be surprised to lose it.
  • Chargers at Raiders
  • Dolphins at Packers
  • Seahawks at Rams
  • Cowboys at Eagles

Monday, November 12

  • Giants at 49ers
Like Hagerman last week, I could only find a single disagreement.  I think it's a fairly lackluster slate of games although I'm sure a couple will end up entertaining.

Brian, I'm confused.  How do you really feel about the Cowboys?  ;)

I'm torn.  I really want to move up to a one game difference between Matt and me, and I really don't want to move down to a three game difference between us.

But I really really do not care who wins this game.

Okay, there's split opinions of the Monday Night Game with no PTP, so I think I can do awards right now.

We got Charlie Brown'd twice!  First, no one picked the hapless Cowboys over the apparently even more hapless Eagles.  This is one of the biggest SB falls from grace in a good while.

Second, and much more understandably, no one picked the Titans over the Patriots.  I'm not even upset.  Good job, Titans!

And finally, we have an I CALLED IT!  Rich Marzullo picked the Browns over the Falcons!  We should have seen it coming - the Browns actually lead the series 11-3 now!  That bit of trivia notwithstanding, the Browns should be reeling from personnel changes, especially with a rookie QB.  So I'm kicking this up a notch - way to go Rich!

Here's a question: if the Browns are no longer the rock bottom team in the NFL, who is it?  Cardinals?  Giants?  Ravens?

Boo yah!!

To your second post Kevin, it's the Giants. I say that as a life long, and very frustrated, fan. When we're not winning Super Bowls, our record is atrocious. We've tried new coaches, we have OBJ and now Barkley, and we're terrible.

I dunno, the Lions may give the Giants a run for their money. After being blown out yet again this year they may be on their way to their rightful place at the bottom of the heap. A place they have been oh so many times this past half century!

and man I was so close to picking the Titans!

The Lions are baffling.  Stafford is a good QB - not as good as the Flacco money he's pulling down, but still - and while he pulls off a lot of comebacks, he's on the losing end way more than I'd expect.

Next week's thread is up.  You'll find a link to week 12 there in a bit, too.
