Paul, in Photoshop I take my 300 dpi scan and just change the width to 600 pixels. When you reduce it to 72 dpi you will loose lots of detail. Don't change the dpi and see what you think.

Thanks, Eric! That's a huge help - I can't wait to try it.
Your last page looks really good - every new page looks more refined than the last. 
I think the more a person inks a particular artist, the more you understand how their pencils should come across when inked.

I have inked pencils by other artists in the last year, but only to help me get better with JBs Elsewhen pages and help me develop my own style. Looking back I have been tinkering almost two years with inking.
