Paul Wills I don't know if you use Photoshop but there's a tool named
Photomerge that will splice together your scans for you.

File > Automate > Photomerge.

Hey Paul.  I was gonna say the same thing, but JB beat me to it. Inking things with a thinner line the further away from the viewer they are, creates a sense of depth. Great looking inks though... just a bit heavy in the backgrounds.

By the way... love the inks on that Thor page!!

Thanks Shane! I'm working on improving in that area. Will post another page soon!
Robert - I use Corel Painter. I have to check to see if it has that feature - that would come in handy!

One of the things I'm learning from inking these pages is trying to be 'fluid' with the inks in terms of all the curves. I've always loved how JB uses curves and circle lines in his pencils and that's kind of hard to translate into inking (but I'm trying!)

Thank you, Mike! I'm tempted to go back and make some adjustments on the last Doom panel. I always see things that I want to correct after posting.

Nature of the game Paul, I've never drawn or inked anything that I didn't immediately start finding flaws to correct. It can be maddening at times.
Trust me though, that's a great Doom!

Yeah, you're right. I know most artists look at their work & feel they could've done something a little better.

I call that the "artists curse", that one is never fully satisfied with one's own art. But, it's also a good thing, if not taken to extremes. It motivates you to do better.
