Rams-Patriots, with 175 points ! I trust LA running game can protect Goff and expect a flawless performance from NE OL and a bit too much errant long throws from '19 MVP !!!!

Rematches of two great regular season games. Saints won in November but their offensive line is gimpy this time and LA is completely healthy plus Gurley and Aaron Donald are playing great. Rams in the road upset. The Chiefs just destroyed the streaking Colts but I'm going with my gut and taking The Patriots in a road upset as well. Philippe and I are two of the few making this pick it would seem.

If it's not Saints/Chiefs in the Super Bowl, I'll be watching something else.

Saints got a tough and costly break on that non-call on clear pass interference late, but Zuerlein's playoff record breaking 57-yard FG was money. I hope we get an explanation for the non-call (a ref fell down and missed it?) because even though it was bang-bang, it seemed pretty obvious in real time as well.

The Rams got away with blatant pass interference earlier in the game, too. I was actually stunned when the refs called it during halftime.
But someone should end up losing their job over that non-call. It cost the Saints the win. I'm thinking the league should tell the refs that they just officiated the game for free, and won't be working the next postseason.
I was all set to be for whoever represented the NFC in the Super Bowl if the Patriots beat the Chiefs. But I cannot justify cheering for the Rams, knowing they got there undeservedly due to bad officiating.
Heidi's son won a $10 bet with a friend over the game, but even he agrees the win was due to the officials. And a friend who was watching the game with us who is a lifelong Saints fan is steaming.

I don't normally watch these, but I let myself get roped in to watching the second half of the Rams/Saints, and then most of the Chiefs/Patriots. I kept asking, are these normal games? So many calls, flags, time outs and just tricky calls needing multiple angle replays. Mind you the only American type football I ever have understood really was CFL, and it's different... and going by what I saw tonight... better. I didn't entirely understand things, but then I wonder, did anybody? :^D
Meh, I'll pretty much stick with hockey and the alternating World Cup and Euro Cup soccer every two years (the real football to non-N.Americans I guess). Because if I cared about NFL I can see my blood pressure would suffer! :^o
So, I guess if you said Saints/Chiefs... (insert big game show buzzer sound here)
