Chris responded over at CAF:
"It should go live in a week or two--they're still nailing down the last-minute details. But the books are done and ready to go. Most of the art JB did are headshots so I bought this one so the ones offered to everyone else were more uniform."

These books are hand picked by JB and presented in color. This is not a rerelease of JB's Fantastic Four Artist's Edition.
Chris says, "Brand-new, but not an Artist's Edition. An Artist's Select book, similar to the recent Layton Iron Man. Full color stories, hand-picked by JB and available (soon) as a signed edition or a deluxe version with a hand-drawn art piece."
Looks like a good one.

Are these the same size as an artist edition? Never mind! They are 9" x 13" signed and numbered go for $125 with original art $395 well at least the Bob Layton one runs those prices.

The Layton book is listed at 9" x 13" - I'd assume its the same size?

Argh. Only 100 copies with original art! I've wanted a piece of original JB art of Superman or the Fantastic Four since as long as I can remember. When I was a kid, I would go to the old Mid-Ohio Cons held at the Mansfield fairground in Ohio and see JB sketch, sign, and do Q&As. Never could afford anything (such as a Superman and Batman piece he did with Frank Miller, if memory serves me correct). The closest I ever came was bidding on a large Superman figure that JB auctioned off at a Hudson comic convention (I think Hudson? -- held by Mr. Roger Price, who for years ran the Mid-Ohio Con, unless I'm really getting a poor memory). But again, I was a kid with meager funds. Many (sigh) years later, I saved up and emailed Jim Warden about a Superman and Krypto or FF commission -- and then JB stopped doing commissions! And now here are 100 JB FF originals. What are the odds they won't be sold out when I get off work tomorrow and can finally get to a computer I can use to order one? Something tells me the universe is going to thwart me again.
