A light week for me:

  • CATWOMAN #8  - I'm behind on this title, though I get it primarily for my son, who is up on it
  • FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN #3 - Also one issue behind on this title.
  • JUGHEAD THE HUNGER #12 - I'm getting bored with this title, I think it's days are numbered (but that's just me)

AMERICAN CARNAGE #4 - Great crime series so far.

STRONGHOLD #1 - New series from Phil Hester and Ryan Kelly. I forget what it's about but it was intriguing enough to order :)

(As for Jughead: The Hunger, I lost interest after a few issues but did laugh that the one Archie Horror book that comes out on time is the one I don't like.)

Army of Darkness vs Bubba Ho Tep #1 - From last week, I missed it.  I enjoyed Boom's Escape from New York/Big Trouble in Little China crossover so a Bruce Campbell crossover from Dynamite could be fun...

Guardians of the Galaxy #2 - Issue 1 was good, hopefully the 2nd is good as well.

Return of Wolverine #5 - McNiven returns to pencilling(he did the first and the last issue), it was okay, I'm kind of meh on the Wolverine: Infinity Watch lead in though...

True Believers: Binary - Reprinting Uncanny X-Men 164 by Claremont & Cockum...

Avengers #15- The Vampire storyline could be cool.

Doctor Strange #11- Best Doctor Stange in a long time in my opinion.

Guardians of the Galaxy #2- Good first issue but I'm concerned as an old Starfox fan, that he's going to be a villain.

Uncanny X-Men #12- If they're trying to fix the mess the X-Men has become, this storyline has potential.

EAST OF WEST #41
SHARKEY BOUNTY HUNTER #1 (OF 6)

BATMAN #65 THE PRICE
WILD STORM #20

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #2

Also picked up the last six or so issues of DETECTIVE COMICS by Tomasi and Mahnke and, man, is that story a good one with great art. May drop Batman and start getting Detective instead as it's way better. With stuff like this Flash crossover written by the Flash writer when I don't even read the Flash comic as well as many weak issues by Tom King, I probably should've already dropped Batman. The best thing about the Batman title has been the art, especially the Lee Weeks and Mikel Janin issues. Tomasi definitely gets the character a lot more than King and it's great to see him using his detective skills. And I absolutely love Mahke's art.

Doctor Strange # 11 - Great series.

Savage Dragon #242 - Been onboard with this title since 1992. Won't stop now.

Marvel at the moment is producing these books that I really am enjoying. Some had a slow start but have grown considerably. I'd say that Immortal Hulk, FF, Iron Man, Amazing Spider-Man and Doctor Strange are some of the best they have produced in the last 15 years.
