So...So...SO glad I didn't chime in where friends of mine did in support of him.

This shit pisses me right off.

I have little sympathy for him.

Fuckin' up Black History Month pretty badly!

I am a conservative who abstained from
voting because I couldn't in good
conscience vote for either candidate.
After Trump won the election, what I've
witnessed is a lot of people on both sides
behaving badly. What I'm about to posts is
based off of buzz words and phrases that I
hear across the internet.

The left seems sure he's an Neo-Nazi Alt-
Right fascist that wants to turn this
country into the next Hitler lead Germany.
Anyone, who appears to support him, is a
target for harassment, including kids.

The right counters by calling the many on
the left Social Justice Warriors,
Socialists, Marxists and Communists who
will take down a person who doesn't think
correctly.

On Both sides, whoever is called out, gets
a group, intentional or not, mostly not,
to attack in swarms, and drive people off
the internet.

I think this guy got caught up in this
internet back and forth that started when
we elected our current President and needs
help.

Do I think Trump is a good President?
I think he's middle of the road.
Currently, we are enjoying the best
economy in 60 years, and he's managed to
keep us out of conflicts. I think he
negotiated a shitty deal with Russia that
has us leaving Syria and sadly, we will
have to go back within a decade's time.

Do I think he's a Misogynist?
Yep. Thought Bill Clinton was too. I think
both and many more, use their postions to
prey on young women attracted to power.

I also think a lot of rhetoric has been
created to stir people up into a frenzy.
The people in Washington generally DON'T
CARE about the American people. This is a
chess match to see who can be king of the
hill. They hope no one will actually
research events and opinions of their's in
the past. I remember Democrats mentioning
the idea of a border wall going back
before Obama was President. I think the
images of children sleeping in cages was
deplorable. I actual timestamp on those
photos go back to 2014. All of this is
simply because he wants it and there not
the king of the hill.

The guy running our country is a good guy.
I wouldn't want him as a friend. I
certainly wouldn't want him near my
sister. I think him not understanding how
business is done in DC is both a blessing
and a curse. I think he's a bit of a goof
who has a few good ideas and a few bad
ones. I think a lot of this anger is self
defeating and unproductive. Why do i feel
this way? Because that anger is how I felt
as a young man during the Clinton scandal.
It didn't do me a lot of good then either.

“A good guy”? He goes around bragging about how he likes to grab women “by the pussy”. Yeah, that’s a good guy.

He makes fun of handicapped people. Good guy.

He’s a racist. Great guy.

He’s a rich, spoiled brat bully that doesn’t think he has to play by any rules that all the rest of us have to obey. Good guy.

Jesus Christ, Stephen. What’s your definition of a bad guy?

So he was disgruntled at making only $80,000 an episode from what I read somewhere. I would love to make $80,000 and episode over several years. I think I've put up with much worse jobs for much less over the years.

And you should read what people from other countries
think about him... The impact on America's image as a
leading country...

Haven't watched network TV regularly since 1983 so I have no idea who he is.

How many careers were ruined in the last year just by someone just making an accusation but with absolutely no proof? it makes me question whether we should always believe the victim?

Nothing wrong with questioning the victim too.
Especially if they are going to completely destroy the
other persons life. You have to question them.

——

Believing the victim doesn’t mean presuming guilt on the part of the accused or taking the accuser’s word as truth uncritically. It means taking claims of abuse and assault seriously and not dismissing them outright, which has been a problem historically.

I think you need to consider due process
as well. With the internet, we've reached
an outrage mob mentality where we don't
wait for due process to pass judgement. I
think the Vic Mignogna, voice actor, case
is an example. The prevailing winds are,
he's a serial harasser of women and
possibly female minors. He's lost his job,
he's been banned from convention signings
and labeled public enemy number one. Does
he deserve it. Possibly. I know the
stories that have come out makes me think
he's a single guy trying to have a healthy
sex life. Because of this, he's got a bit
of a reputation of being a hound dog.
Nothing I've heard sounds like actual real
harassment. Io9 did an interview with him.
Then I read the full interview and kearn,
io9 didn't publish his complete answers.
We need to kearn that the nedia is no
longer our friend. I'm not just talking
about CNN or MSNBC. The Networks,
newspapers, FOX NEWS, YouTube pundits,
everyone of them is having no trouble
trying to monetize your outrage. Vic may
be guilty as hell. Women have come forward
with stories. Why haven't charages been
filed. Is he guilty or has a couple of
jaded people decided to use the media to
destroy a person's life? I wasn't there, I
don't know. I'm waiting for due process.
