I'm crossing my fingers it doesn't get moved to a streaming service like my last favorite tv show.

Today is the 60th birthday of Doug Jones, aka Baron Afanas.

Dont eat the cake, Baron!

I think that's less likely with WWDITS having a smaller budget than that other one, and this being on FX instead of Fox - plus FX is known to invest in shows for the long run (they just renewed IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA for a record-breaking 15th season).

Disney seems to regard FX as a valuable entity thus far, as a lead-in for Hulu. LINK

A little unfocused this week.

I'm torn with the Guillermo conclusion. Part of the fun was the lack of respect and dismissal directed at him from Nandor. We'll see how far the writers want to carry this particular continuity.

I did have a hearty laugh at the 1850s version of "Come On Ilene", and a few other places, but that was about it.

It's hard to accept this episode's reminder that a man in his mid-30s during the Disco Daze would be pushing 80 today!

Oh, and another joke I got a second before it landed:

"F*cking Gal!"

This one wasn't really so funny (I was hoping they were going to do something more interesting with the witches trope), but I was very impressed by the makeup and SFX.

I expected an ending wherein Colin's seed would turn the witches instantly to dust (and maybe he'd get some kind of energy boost from it). I guess this was the happier ending, and nobody ended up as a hat.

Amusing season finale. Nice setup for next season.

Curiously, last weeks episode has disappeared from FX on demand

It's just so entertaining watching Guillermo in action.

And of COURSE his last name translates to "of the Cross"!

I forgot that this was the finale. Dammit!

This season has been just as strong (if not stronger) than the first, which is a good sign. My favorite has to be Mark Hamill's - I've replayed it 3 times already.
