I didn't love everything Al Milgrom did, but there were a few things I liked quit a bit. He did some solid covers for THE INCREDIBLE HULK during the Sal Buscema interior pencils era. His inks over Steve Rude in THE INCREDIBLE HULK vs. SUPERMAN are very good. It's a beautiful book. I haven't gotten a chance to meet him, but it would be nice to do so and have him sign some things.
I've been lucky enough to meet a few of my favorite comic artists (and writers). Hard to say who the friendliest was, as they were all fairly cordial.
I got to meet Herb Trimpe, he was quite friendly and open. It may stick out in my mind more because he died less than a year later.
Not sure where the bad JB stories are from, as he seemed nice enough in Boston last year.
