Just an FYI for fans, but you can get the entire series in HD for just $19.99 on iTunes.  Less than ten cents an episode.  Don't know how long the sale is running, but it's well worth it as the series holds up incredibly well.

I donít. I have them on dvd and they also stream on the CBS app. The dvds were bought for probably and average on $35 a season. I was getting them as they were released. If only Iíd waited 10 years or so!

Loved Cheers, and felt very grown up watching it as a kid here in the UK.

The final episode was slightly ruined, as some genius at Channel 4 decided to include the final scene in the advertising!

Man, I remember that there was a REALLLY long gap between the releases of seasons 8 and 9, to the point where it seemed like the last 3 seasons were just never going to happen. And then they finally did but in regular size DVD cases instead of the full box sets like the rest, which irked me as an anal retentive fan who wanted them all to look nice on the shelf.

I ended up selling the whole thing and buying a complete series box set instead about 5 years ago.
