A memory.......

Around the time I quit UNCANNY a couple of guys producing an “independent” announced that they’d had “creative differences” and intended to continue their project as TWO books, one by each of them.

I don’t recall if that ever happened, but it created a smallish flurry of fan speculation about Chris and me doing the same. So, thirty nine years later, I guess this is that!

That independent comic might have been d'Arc Tangent. More about it at this blog: https://mbc1955.wordpress.com/2014/12/13/uncompleted-stories -darc-tangent/

It says Chris Claremont was credited as 'editorial consultant', and that it was Dave Sim who suggested "both of them put out a d’Arc Tangent 2, and see where each of them goes with it."

I'll second that. Great-looking stuff.

Looking forward to the next installment.

Tomorrow you’ll be getting a “quiet” scene, so two pages.

Actually, I’ve been thinking about accelerating the postings to get past the pages you’ve already seen.

However you want to pace it works for us, JB!

Thank you for sharing this.
And thank you for giving us a look at your process- the pre-lettered original pages, the elements you'd redrawn, etc.

Kind of reminds me of a daily newspaper strip, but instead of using a panel a day to recap, I get the same impact whilst scrolling down to the new page.

Honestly, thanks for this John!
