Which Comic Book Artist that primarily worked on DC Books would you have liked liked to see work om Marvel Books or vice versa? Could be living or dead.

I would've liked to see Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez work on the Fantastic Four and Spider-Man.(His work on Superman & Deadman was superlative like many other DC characters). Or Joe Sinnott worked on Superman.

JLG-L on just about anything Marvel would be beautiful.

Big John Buscema on Batman would be something to see. He’d have probably preferred to on something like WARLORD, tho.

I would definitely have liked to see John Romita Sr work on Superman, and John Buscema on Batman (especially the villains!).

Jim Aparo could have been interesting on Spider-Man. Same with Joe Kubert on Captain America.

Agreeing with Vinny here. Joe Kubert on Captain America (or the Invaders) would have been delicious.

Jim Aparo - it's too easy to say "Marvel Team-Up" or "Marvel Two-in-One", so picking a regular strip...I would have bought the hell out of Jim Aparo on Daredevil.

Perhaps Murphy Anderson on Fantastic Four. He could obviously do sci-fi, and it wouldn't take much to give FF a tiny bend further in that direction.

Wayne Boring on Thor - oh, wait...

I think Don Heck on Batman could've been fun.

Big John Buscema on Superman would've seemed obvious... and magnificent. Or even on Justice League.

John Romita did draw some of the most beautiful women - I'll bet he'd have done just as great a job on Wonder Woman.

Some seem kind of obvious to me - John Severin on Sgt. Rock (unless I'm misremembering and he DID do some), Jim Starlin on Green Lantern, Nick Cardy on the X-Men... I figure these are kinda low hanging fruit.

I would've liked Sal Buscema doing the Justice Society too, I believe.

That's a few choices. Can't wait to see what others come up with!

Certainly John Buscema for a long run on Superman.

I hereby amend my idea - I like yours better.

I also like Aparo on Daredevil. Big thumbs up.

I would have liked to see Frank Miller during his Daredevil days to work on Green Arrow.
A Walt Simonson run of Conan might have been fun.
Buscema on Superman is a great band wagon to jump on.
Alan Davis doing a Spider-Man run might be nice.
A Joe Kubert Fantastic Four would have been cool.

I know Alan Davis has done a fair amount of work for DC, but wouldn't you say he is primarily a Marvel guy?

I would have liked to have seen:

Garcia Lopez on the Avengers (with inks by Dick Giordano).

John Romita Sr on Batman.

John Buscema on Wonder Woman.

Norm Breyfogle on Daredevil.

Peter, Paul's "or vice versa" in the original post made it a two way street for me.

I love Alan Davis' work, and he usually draws perfect renditions of pretty much every character, but Spider-Man's one out of two characters* that don't look quite right to me when he draws them. I think that's it's just the eyes that I don't care for.

*The other is Wolverine - his mask at least.

Dick Dillin on Fantastic Four or Avengers. But only Avengers if the Squadron Supreme were involved.

Jim Aparo on Ghost Rider, Moon Knight or Sub-Mariner.

John Buscema on Wonder Woman.

John Romita on Teen Titans. The original team.

Jim Steranko on The Creeper.

Herb Trimpe on either Doom Patrol or Challengers of the Unknown.

Mike Grell on Shang-Chi, Master of Kung-Fu or Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
